Troops Ambush Bandits in Katsina, Recover 7 Motorcycles

A joint ambush operation involving the troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA, police, Community Watch Corps, and Vigilant Groups was successfully carried out on April 10, 2025, at approximately 4:15 a.m. along the Dutsen Wori bandits’ route in Katsina State.

 

Zagazola Makama understands that the  operation targeted suspected bandits who were riding motorcycles through the area. Upon interception, the bandits engaged the joint team in a fierce gunfight. 

 

Despite the heavy exchange of fire, the bandits managed to escape with severe gunshot wounds.

 

The operation led to the recovery of seven motorcycles.
