Kidnappers Attack Gombe Village, Abduct One

A kidnapping incident occurred in Kwaiba Mairana Village, Gombe State, on April 10, 2025, when armed kidnappers stormed the village around 1:00 a.m., shooting sporadically and breaking into the home of 40-year-old Meshack Mela.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the kidnappers inflicted injuries on Mela before abducting him to an unknown location. Blood stains were found at the scene, and one empty shell of an AK-47 ammunition was recovered as evidence.
Efforts to rescue the victim and apprehend the suspects are ongoing, with an investigation in progress by security agencies.
