Troops Annihilated Several ISWAP Terrorists In Mafa, Recover Guntruck

The Nigerian troops of Operation Hadin Kai have anihilated several terororists when it repelled a mid night attack on Mafa local government area in the North Eastern Borno State, Zagazola learnt.
This comes few hourz after few hourz after the Borno Governor Babagana Zulum left the town after he casted his vote at his polling unit at  Unit 001 Ajari Ward, in Mafa.
It was gathered that  scores of armed  suspected to be members of the Islamic State of the West African Province(ISWAP), stormed the town in gun trucks and motorcycles in an attempt to attack the military formation and INEC Collation Centre at about 2am.
An Intelligence Sources told Zagazola Makama, A Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency Expert in the Lake Chad region that  the terrorists met their Waterloo when the troops engaged them in superior gunfire killing several of them on the spot.
The source said that Air Task Force  fighter jets dispatched for the scene Force the terrorists to flee when they could not bear the heat.
The troops recovered one hilux trucks and several weapons from the terrorists.
Zagazola report that thousands of residents in Mafa came out to celebrate the victory of the troops.
