Troops of Operation Whirl Stroke have arrested four key collaborators of the wanted IPOB/ESN commander, Maduabuchi Nwankwo, also known as “Emergency,” in Iballakwu village, Benue State.

A statement by the Nigerian Army said the suspects, including the wife and brothers of the fugitive leader, were found with mobile devices used for coordinating logistics, procuring explosive materials and transferring funds to support subversive operations.

The Army said the arrests marked a significant breakthrough in efforts to disrupt criminal networks and inter-state coordination among non-state actors.
