Troops arrest suspected terrorist collaborator in Kaduna

Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA (OPFY) have arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Security sources said the arrest was made at following credible intelligence on the activities of a suspected informant in Banikawa 1 area.
The sources disclosed that troops of Sector 1 OPFY swiftly responded and apprehended the suspect.
“During preliminary interrogation, the suspect confessed to involvement in several terrorist activities, including the attack on Forward Operating Base (FOB) Maro in December 2024 and the recent abduction of a Reverend Father in Kagarko Local Government Area.
“The suspect also admitted to supplying logistics and food items to terrorists in their camps,” the source said.
The suspect is currently in custody for further investigation and necessary action.
