Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist Collaborator in Mubi

Troops of 247 Reconnaissance Battalion, C Company, Mubi, in conjunction with Keystone and local hunters, have arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator during a cordon-and-search operation in Mubi South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
A military source told Zagazola Makama that the operation was conducted in Girpata and Wurobululude areas of Mubi South on August 9, 2026.
During the operation, the troops arrested a 43-year-old suspect identified as Yahaya Adamu in the Girpata area.
The suspect was taken into custody by troops of 247 Battalion for further investigation to establish his alleged links and activities with terrorist elements.
The troops subsequently returned to base at about 3:10 a.m.
