Troops Arrest Suspected Terrorist Logistics Suppliers in Kogi State

Troops of 12 Brigade have arrested two suspected logistics suppliers linked to terrorist activities in the Felele general area of Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Security sources disclosed that the suspects were apprehended at about 7:30 p.m. on May 21 during a targeted operation aimed at disrupting support networks for criminal elements operating around Agbaja forest and adjoining communities.
According to the sources, the suspects, who reportedly posed as marabouts, were alleged to be involved in supplying logistics and providing spiritual support to terrorists operating within the Agbaja forest axis.
Items recovered from the suspects include four vigilante identification cards, two National Identification Number (NIN) slips, two ATM cards, two machetes, two mobile phones, assorted pain relief drugs, herbal medicines and a cash sum of ₦21,000.
The suspects are currently in military custody for further investigation and necessary action.
Security authorities have continued to intensify operations across Kogi State aimed at dismantling criminal support networks and enhancing safety in vulnerable communities.
