Troops Conduct Fighting Patrol in Ogun, Sustain Anti-Crime Operations

Troops of the 35 Artillery Brigade have conducted a fighting patrol along the Imeko–Obolo–Ayetoro road and adjoining communities in Ogun State as part of ongoing efforts to deny criminal elements freedom of action.
Security sources said that the operation was carried out at about 10:05 a.m. on June 24.
The sources said the troops combed bushes along the Imeko–Obolo–Ayetoro axis up to Olobo Community in Abeokuta South Local Government Area.
According to the sources, no contact was made with any criminal elements during the operation.
They added that the troops have continued aggressive patrols across the area to maintain security and prevent criminal activities.
