Troops eliminates several Boko Haram fighters, destroy terrorists’ camp in Borno

Troops of 21 Special Armoured Brigade, in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces, have eliminated several Boko Haram terrorists and destroyed their camp in Bama Local Government Area of Borno.
Security sources said the operation, which took place at about 10:00 a.m. on April 11, was conducted in Bula Daloye general area as part of ongoing clearance and exploitation efforts in the North-East.
According to the sources, the terrorists opened sporadic fire on sighting the advancing troops, who responded with superior firepower. The fire fight ended in victory as the troops eliminated several terrorists and forcing other insurgents to flee.
The sources added that the troops subsequently destroyed the camp and other life-support structures found within the location.
