Troops Intercept Suspected Terrorist Motorcycle in Katsina

Troops of the 4 Demonstration Battalion operating from Forward Operating Base (FOB) FUDMA have intercepted a suspected terrorist during a security operation in Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State.
The incident occurred at about 1720 hours on June 20 at a filling station in Shema community, where the suspect was reportedly attempting to refuel his motorcycle.
Security sources said troops moved in and accosted the suspect, who abandoned the motorcycle and fled the scene.
The motorcycle has since been recovered and is in military custody for further action.
Authorities said follow-up operations are ongoing to track and apprehend the fleeing suspect.
