Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have killed eight Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists, including two of their commanders, in a clash at Ladari, Borno State.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the encounter took place on Sept. 11 during an incursion against the insurgents.
The sources said 12 other terrorists sustained serious injuries, while the attack was led by the ISWAP Commander of Tumbumma, who reportedly suffered a hand injury before escaping.
Those killed were identified as the commanders of Juye and Koloram, marking a significant blow to the group’s leadership structure.
“This is the second time within the area that terrorists have suffered heavy losses. Earlier, in Wulgo, notorious leaders Abu Fatima and Abu Nasir were neutralised,” one of the sources disclosed.
