Troops kill scores of Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters in Borno
 
An unspecified number of Boko Haram terrorists suspected to be Boko Haram/ ISWAP insurgents have been killed by troops of ‘Operation Hadin Kai’ in an attempt to infiltrate Wulgo a border town in the shores of the Lake Chad on Tuesday. 
 
Wulgo is in Ngala Local government area of Borno state, and about 130km to Maiduguri, capital of the restive Borno state. 
 
Zagazola Makama, a Top Security Analyst and Counter Insurgency expert learnt that the attackers on 7 Hilux trucks all wielded with Anti Air Craft guns, stormed the base on at about 1800hourz and began shooting sporadically. 
 
It was gathered that the troops swiftly engaged the terrorists in a gunbattle, as a result killed several of them and recovered their weapons as well as two guntrucks used by the attackers. 
 
It was learnt that the  troops also chased the fleeing terrorists on five guntrucks.
