Troops kills 5 Boko Haram, recovers 500 flock of sheep in Maiduguri

 

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai of the Army in Borno on Wednesday killed five Boko Haram terrorists and recovered 500 rustled rams in Jere Local Government Area of Borno State.

On 22/02/2022 at about 0330hrs, a distress call was received that terrorists attacked some hardesmen and rustled thier domestic animals

 

Consequently, the Theartre Commander's Special Response Squad were dispatched to chased the terrorists in the Axis of the Cashew plantation in Jere Local Government Area. 

 

The gallant team ambush and intercepted the terrorists at their  possible exit route, engaged them into a fierce gun duel, neutralised five (5) of them, recovered about 500 rams and other items they stole from locals.

 

The animals were handed back to the owner as troops escorted them to a safe location.
