Troops launch offensive, arrest 2 suspected Bandits in Benue

Troops of Sector 1 have conducted an offensive operation targeting suspected terrorist and criminal enclaves in Gwer West Local Government Area of Benue State.
Security sources said that at about 8:00 a.m. on March 24, troops deployed from FOB Bilawa-Jor and Naka cleared the suspected enclaves at Embapa and Akpako, where bandits, armed herders, and other criminals were reportedly hiding.
During the operation, two suspected terrorists were apprehended and are currently in custody for further investigation and action.
