Troops rescue kidnapped victim in Benue

Troops of Sector 1, in collaboration with operatives of the Benue State Civil Protection Guards, have rescued a kidnapped victim in Katsina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State.
Security sources said that at about 2:09 p.m. on March 24, following reports of kidnapping activities in Tse-Ubena, Yooyo Council Ward, the troops deployed to Tor Donga.
On sighting the security personnel, the kidnappers abandoned their victim and fled.
The rescued victim is currently in the custody of the troops for further action, while security operatives continue to dominate the general area to prevent further criminal activity.
