Troops neutralise Boko Haram scout near Alau Dam

Nigerian army troops of Operation HADIN KAI, supported by Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces, have killed a Boko Haram scout during an ambush at Kolori Karumi near Alau Dam in Borno State.
The operation, carried out on Sept. 22, was part of ongoing Operation Desert Sanity IV under the Joint Task Force (North East), Operation Hadin Kai.
Military authorities said the successful ambush prevented terrorists from conducting surveillance and planning attacks around the area.
The troops were commended for their vigilance and resilience.
