Troops Neutralize Six Terrorists, Rescue 57 captives Sambisa Forest

The troops of Operation Lake Sanity III, Operation Hadin Kai have nutrialsied six Boko Haram terrorists in Sambisa Forest.

It was gathered that the feat was recorded by the troops in collaboration with Hybrid Force, and CJTF during a fighting patrol to a Boko Haram terrorists enclave in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the operation, which took place on 12 July 2024 at approximately 12:06 a.m., resulted in the neutralization of the six terrorists, while others fled with gunshot wounds.

The troops also rescued 57 persons, including 20 adult females and 37 children.

One dane gun was recovered, and all life support structures at the enclave were destroyed.
