Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA Neutralise Suspected Bandit in Katsina

Troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have neutralised a suspected bandit following a joint security operation in Kuki Village, Katsina State.
Zagazola Makama gathered that thr operation, conducted at about 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, was carried out in collaboration with Police Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) patrol teams and members of the C Watch Vigilante group.
The troops successfully repelled an attack on the community by armed bandits, forcing the assailants to retreat after a brief exchange of gunfire.
According to sources, the body of a suspected bandit was later discovered along a bush path, believed to be among those wounded during the encounter.
Patrol teams are currently conducting a cordon-and-search mission in the area to track down other injured members of the group and recover any abandoned weapons.
