Two Bandits Killed, Firearms Recovered in Gusau Market Clash

Two armed bandits were neutralized in a gunfight with police and local hunters at Mada Market in Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State on April 15, 2025. 

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the  bandits, who stormed the market and opened fire indiscriminately, were swiftly confronted by a joint team of police officers and hunters.

 

During the exchange of fire, two bandits were killed, and one AK-47 rifle was recovered from the scene. Several other bandits are believed to have sustained gunshot injuries and fled the area, though their whereabouts remain unknown.

 

The Nigerian troops  and hunters’ prompt response averted further casualties and destruction at the market.
