UU Idris takes over as new NAF Component Commander in Maiduguri

Air Commodore UU Idris, takes over command as the Air Component Commander Operation Hadin Kai, Maiduguri while Air Commodore JI Jibiya, redeployed to Kastina as Air Component Operation Hadarin Daji (AC OPHD), North West.
UU Idris was the Air Component Operation Officer of Air Component Command Maiduguri.
Mr Jibiya's tenacity of purpose and commitment to duty were top notch. This was made manifest in the successful operations he led during his tour of duty in the NE which led to the decimation and elimination of thousands of Boko Haram/ ISWAP terrorists including their top Commanders.
It is expected that the present tenure of Air Commodore, UU Idris as the Air Component Commander would complement the past efforts with outstanding innovation and improved strategy.
