Vigilante shot two men in Yobe

Two men sustained serious gunshot injuries after being shot by a vigilante in Dadigar Village, Bursari Local Government Area of Yobe State.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the victims including Audu Alhaji Isa, 25, and Adamu Suleh, 30, both of Dadigar Village, were brought to the police station by community members Chilimbita and Chairman Sule on Feb. 8 at about 8:30 p.m.,
The sources said that the victims were found bleeding from multiple injuries to their right and left legs, reportedly inflicted by one Muhammadu Jawuno, a vigilante from the same village who is currently at large.
The victims were immediately rushed to Specialist Hospital Gashu’a, Bade LGA for initial treatment before being referred to the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru for further medical care.
Police confirmed that the case is under investigation and efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest the fleeing suspect.
