Woman killed in armed robbery attack in Kaduna South

A 62-year-old woman, Ayinda Dauda, has been stabbed to death by her wheelbarrow pusher in Kurmin Gwari, Kaduna South Local Government Area.
The incident occurred on Sept. 12 at about 12:30 p.m. when the suspect, who usually conveyed the woman’s load on market days, allegedly attacked her with a knife.
Sources told Zagazola that the victim was dispossessed of her money, handset and other valuables during the attack.
She was rushed to A.P. Smart Hospital for medical attention but was confirmed dead by a doctor while receiving treatment.
Her body was later released to the family for burial according to Christian rites, at their request for no post-mortem examination.
Authorities say efforts are ongoing to trace and apprehend the fleeing suspect, while investigation into the matter continues.
