2 Civilians killed in a Cross fire as troops engaged Boko Haram

Atleast 2 civilians killed when the troops of Operation Hadin Kai engaged Boko Haram terrorists in Ngowom Axis, Along Maiduguri Mafa Road, in Mafa Local Government Area.
It was gathered that Boko Haram insurgents had established vehicle check point on a robbery mission
to siphoned fuel from some commuters and robbed civilians of their money, phones and other valuables.
Acting on distress, the troops along with Civilian Joint task force (CJTF) deployed to the location, they engaged the operatives in a fire fight and captured four motorcycles of the operatives.
