Armed Bandits Attack Faskari Outskirts, Abduct Couple

Armed bandits launched an attack on Unguwar Sabuwar Abuja, a settlement on the outskirts of Faskari town in Katsina State, abducting a couple in the early hours of Monday.

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola  Makama that the  attack occurred on Monday at about 1:45 a.m., prompting a swift response from troops who  engaged the attackers in w heavy gunfight, forcing them to flee into the nearby bush.

 

However, during the invasion, the assailants managed to abduct Yusuf Ibrahim and his wife, Na’ima Yusuf, both residents of the affected community.
