The Army War College Nigeria (AWCN) has concluded its Internal Study Tour for participants of Course 10/2026, aimed at strengthening inter-agency collaboration in addressing Nigeria’s security challenges.

Sources told Zagazola Makama that the week-long tour, held from March 30 to April 2, covered the Areas of Responsibility (AORs) of Operation Enduring Peace (OPEP) in Plateau State and Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) in Benue State.

The tour, themed “Optimizing Collaboration in Addressing Nigeria’s Multidimensional Security Challenges: Imperatives for Stakeholders,” forms part of Module 3 of the college’s curriculum, which focuses on inter-agency cooperation and coordination.

According to the sources, participants visited the headquarters of the operations, where they received detailed briefings on ongoing efforts, particularly in the area of collaboration among security agencies to tackle emerging threats.

It added that the participants also engaged with other security agencies operating within the respective theatres to gain broader insights into joint operational strategies.

The college noted that the tour provided a practical platform for participants to appreciate the importance of synergy among stakeholders in addressing complex security challenges across the country.

The exercise was conducted without any incidents.
