Bandit Attack Foiled, 25 Kidnapped Victims Rescued in Katsina

The troops of Operation FANSAN YANMA have successfully repelled a bandit attack and rescued 25 kidnapped victims in Dandume Local Government Area (LGA) in Kastina. 

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that around 11:45 p.m., armed bandits attacked Unguwar Maigaya and Kwanar Rigiyan villages in Dandume LGA. 

 

Prompt action by the joint troops resulted in the repulsion of the attack at Kwanar Rigiyan. While the situation at Kwanar Rigiyan was successfully handled, the bandits managed to kidnap an undisclosed number of people at Unguwar Maigaya.

 

However, a swift follow-up operation led to the rescue of 25 kidnapped victims, who were unharmed.
