Bandit  clash with security forces  in Niger, three injured

At least  three persons sustained gunshot injuries during a clash between armed bandits and joint security personnel at Agwa village in Rafi Local Government Area, Niger State. 

 

Sources told Zagazola Makama that  the incident occurred on Aug. 28 at about 4:30 p.m. when security personnel engaged armed bandits operating in the area.

 

The sources said that a vigilante identified as Tanko Dudu of Agwa village sustained gunshot injury, while two residents Sunusi Rabi’u and Sa’adiya Rabi’u were struck by stray bullets.

 

The sources said the victims were taken to General Hospital, Kagara, where they are responding to treatment.
