Bandits abduct 20 in Dausayi, Zamfara

Armed bandits, led by notorious kingpin Yellow Janbross, have abducted 20 persons from Dausayi village in Zamfara State, police said.
Sources told Zagazola that the attack occurred on Jan. 28 at about 4:00 p.m., leaving residents of the community in fear.
“The Divisional Police Officer of Dansadau Division, in coordination with joint security forces, has been mobilized to the area. Efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims,” the source said.
The police urged residents to remain vigilant and provide any actionable information to security agencies to aid in the swift recovery of the abducted persons and arrest of the criminals.
Authorities warned that operations would continue to dismantle bandit networks and restore safety to vulnerable communities in the state.
