Bandits abduct four farmers in Munya LGA, Niger

Atleast four farmers were abducted by suspected armed bandits in Dnakwala village, Sarkin-Pawa area of Munya Local Government Area.
The incident occurred on July 6 at about 11:45 a.m. when armed insurgents, in large numbers, stormed the village and attacked the victims while they were working on their farms.
Those abducted include Mohammed Musa, Bashiru Isah, Hussaini Kasimu, and Danjuma Yahaya, all male residents of Dnakwala village.
Sources say security forces in collaboration with local vigilantes, have launched a manhunt for the attackers and are intensifying efforts to rescue the victims unharmed.
