Boko Haram attacked police station killed 2 in Borno and set ablaze 2 vehicles

Boko Haram terrorists have attacked Police Divisional Station in Jakana in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno state, killing a policeman and his wife. 

 

It was gathered that the terrorists stormed the at the early morning of Sunday and  engaged the policemen in a heavy gun battle. 

 

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the terrorists who came in large numbers later overpowered the policemen and 

set ablaze two patrol vehicles belonging to the police and members of Civilian Joint Task Force while they carted away with a motorcycle.

 

The Commisioner of Police, Yusuf Lawan, confirmed the incident.
