Boko Haram/ISWAP kills 9 in Northeast Yobe

Suspected Boko Haram gunmen have killed atleast 9 people when they attacked Gaidam Local Government Area in the restive Northeast Yobe state, Zagazola Learnt.
This was after the terrorist in large numbers on guntrucks and Motorcycles attacked, kornari village, about 3 kilometres to Burutai in Biu, Banki in Bama and Wulgo in Ngala local government areas.
Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst, who broke the news of the attacks had reported that the terrorists had sneaked into the town on foot in the night of Wednesday, at about 9:30pm, shooting sporadically.
While the troops of Operation Hadin Kai came through Garin Banza, to reppel the insurgents invasion, the terrorists, hide their motorcycles, then razed a government technical school to divert attention of the troops.
Zagazola understand that the terror groups then stormed a local joints and killed 9 persons selling alcohol, Dog meat.
"They first ordered the victims to lay down, then slaughtered some of them while they tied others with their hands behind their backs and shot them on the heads. Other head were cut off and placed on their chest," sources said.
The recent spate of attacks by the terrorists was in response to the call by the Islamic State spokesman Abu Umar al-Muhajir who directed Mujahedeens around the world to conduct massive attacks in retaliation for the assassination of it leader and his speaker.
