Borno CJTF shot a driver for refusing  pay bribe in Gubio 

 

A Civilian Joint Task Force Member, one Modu Bulama has allegedly shot a vehicle driver in Gubio Local Government Area in Borno state, Zagazola Learnt. 

 

It was gathered that Modu  stopped a commercial driver  and requested for money but the driver declined to give him any kobo.

 

An argument ensued between the driver and the member of the CJTF and the driver which resulted to long queue at the checking point.

 

He was heard saying "I will shoot your tyer if you don't pay the money". 

 

Another elderly driver interceded and tried to plead with the angry CJTF member but he turned and assaulted the elderly man by slapping him. 

 

Angered by his action, another Driver, simple known as Bafur'ra came to demand why the CJTF member would slap an elderly man on the face who was big enough to be his father.

 

The CJTF quickly cocked his pump action gun and shot my Bafur'ra and his foot, damaging his leg completely. 

 

The driver was rushed to a hospital in Maiduguri for medical attention.
