Security operatives have arrested three suspects, including a dismissed soldier, in connection with the theft of a motorcycle along the Abuja–Keffi Expressway.

The arrest followed a report lodged on July 1 by a victim who said his unregistered motorcycle was forcefully snatched by unidentified individuals.

Surveillance efforts led to the recovery of the stolen motorcycle at Aso ‘C’ area of Mararaba, Nasarawa State. Two suspects, identified as Isah Adamu and Abdullahi Aliyu, were arrested at the scene. During interrogation, the duo claimed they bought the motorcycle for ₦1.1 million.

Further investigation led to the residence of the prime suspect, Adamu Haruna, in Jikwoyi. Haruna, identified as a dismissed soldier, was found in possession of a Nigerian Army ID card, a jackknife, an electroshock device, a shocker, and a pair of military uniforms.

The suspects are currently in police custody and undergoing interrogation.
