FCT police arrest 106 suspects in coordinated raids

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 106 suspects during coordinated raids across identified criminal hideouts in the territory.
Zagazola gathered that the operation, which was carried out on Aug. 5 at about 11:40 p.m., involved tactical teams from Asokoro, Trademore, Kurudu, Maitama, Durumi, Gwagwa, Nyanya, Lokogoma, Utako, Wuye, and Wuse Divisions.
According to sources, the raids targeted black spots, incomplete buildings, and other locations suspected to be used for criminal activities.
Some quantity of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp, as well as other illicit drugs, were recovered during the operation.
The suspects are currently in custody undergoing screening and interrogation at their respective divisions.
The sources said those found culpable would be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
