Five Arrested Over Bauchi Killing, Two Suspects Still at Large

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection with the killing of a man in Liman-Katagum Division earlier this month.

 

Sources said the arrests follow a sustained manhunt after the Aug. 2 incident, which involved alleged criminal conspiracy, trespass and culpable homicide.

 

The suspects were named as Abduljalat Adamu, Dayyabu Haruna, Hakilu Ibrahim, all from Birnin Ganye village, and Abdulrashid Musa, and Mustapha Shuaibu, both from Unguwan Makama.

 

Two other suspects, Abbas Talbabak of Luda village and Kamalu, also known as Andimali, of Birnin Ganye, remain at large.

 

Sources added that  efforts to arrest the fleeing suspects are ongoing while investigations continue.
