Gunmen kill one, abduct another in Kwara community

Gunmen have killed one person, injured another, and abducted a third in an attack on a farmland in Lema community, Edu Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Sources told Zagazola that the incident occurred at about 12:41 p.m. when three men – Mallam Sode Alhassan, 42; Musa Adama, 35; and Ndanuruh Aminu, 30 – were working on their groundnut farm at Gaga farmland area.
“Suddenly, some unknown gunmen armed with AK-47 rifles attacked them, killing Alhassan instantly, injuring Aminu on the shoulder, and whisking away Adama to an unknown destination.
“On receipt of the report, the scene of the incident was visited by security operatives. The injured victim was taken to General Hospital, Share, for treatment, while the body of the deceased was deposited at the hospital mortuary,” the sources said.

Police , vigilantes, and local hunters had been mobilised to comb the surrounding bushes in search of the abducted victim and to arrest the perpetrators.
