Hoodlums invade Monkey Village in Abuja, four arrested

Four suspected hoodlums have been arrested in Monkey Village, Durumi area of Abuja, following a violent disturbance allegedly incited by a group of men armed with dangerous weapons.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the suspects arrived the area on July 2 at about 11:15 a.m. in a silver-colored Mercedes Benz and began attacking residents without any provocation.
The attackers, who were said to be wielding machetes and other harmful objects, caused panic within the community before they were intercepted by a rapid response team.
The four suspects arrested at the scene were identified as Mohammed Ali, Mohammed Shaibu, Musa Usman, and Abdullahi Usman all males with no fixed address.
Items recovered from the suspects included machetes, a cutlass, a dangerous animal horn, and the Mercedes Benz vehicle with a suspicious plate number displayed only in front, with no rear plate.
The vehicle has been impounded and investigation into the incident is ongoing, with authorities working to determine the motive behind the attack.
