ISWAP's Imam Albarnawwy, other Commanders fled as Boko Haram seizes key bases in Abadam

The Jamā'at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da'wah wa'l-Jihād terrorists groups, have reportedly seized control of a key bases of the Islamic State of West African Province (ISWAP), after deadly clashes in the North East of the Lake Chad, forcing the IMAM of the ISWAP,.Abu Moussab al-Barnawi and other Commanders to fled.
The sustained onslaught in the rival camps led by the Boko Haram Leader, ABU UMAIMAH or BAKOURA DORO in company of some militants Commanders and their fighters had caused over a hundred death within a week with the ISWAP at the recieving end.
The violent attacks began on 31 Dec. after the JAS faction attacked three armoury bases of the ISWAP at Toumbum Allura Kurnawa and Kangar and overpowered the ISWAP after a 14hourz gunbattle which led to the killing of scores fighters.
In similer encounter, on January 2, Ali Ngulde, Amir Jaysh of JAS, led five Khaids comprising of Muke, from Mandara Mandara ,Ali Ghana, from Ngauri, Abbah Tukur, from Mantari and Maimusari and Abu Isa, to attack ISWAP, killing scores of them and destroying their vehicles.
On January 8, the Boko Haram fighters attacked another base of the ISWAP, located at the North of Kayowa and Toumbun Gini, killing atleast 35 ISWAP fighters while many others were injured.
Intelligence Sources told Zagazola Makama, a Counter-Insurgency Expert and Security Analysts in Lake Chad that the Boko Haram fighters chased the ISWAP fighters towards the axis of Kangarwa and Dogon Chuku and killed additional numbers of them.
The sources said that a major market of the ISWAP at Toumbun Gini, was captured by the JAS elements, while four teenage girls suspected to be wives of the ISWAP were abducted at Kaula village.
The sources said that the seizure of the strategic bases of the ISWAP, including weapons, logistics and equipment capabilities had forced dozens of the ISWAP, their Commanders including Abu Mosad Albarnawi to fled for the fear of battle field elimination.
The sources said Al-BARNAWI has relocated to the South of Borno state in the axis between Gol and Chillaria in Damboa Local Government, where he was recieved by Abbah Shuwa (Ba'a Shuwa), who was appointed as the Wali of the ISWAP in November 2022.
"Ba'a Shuwa was forced to Operate from Gol and Chillaria due to the perennial flooding that submerged most of the camps in the Daula in the Lake Chad, that forced active fighters and their families to relocate to Jibularam, Kwalaram, Kusuma Tumbumma, Chikun Gudu, Bukar Mairam and Abbahanaram general areas.
The sources listed the militants camps that were ravaged by flood to include; Sabon Tumbu, Nglewa, Tudun Wulgo, Sigir, Bakkassi, Kirta, Doron Buhari, Andakar, Tumbum Dila, Yarwa Kura Tudun Fulani, Maina Daya.
The sources said that JAS fighters took advantage of the current challenges in the ISWAP enclaves to target their armoured and strategic capacity, seizing their weapons, logistics and equipment.
Zagazola Understand that Rivalry attacks within the week is expected to increase as ISWAP continue to regroup for a major reprisal offensive against the Boko Haram factions.
On 8 Jan 2023, massive regrouping by ISWAP in collaborations with its ISIS core mercenaries with unspecified vehicles and motorbikes has been noticed in Zari and Diffa, Border between Nigeria-Niger Republic.
Impercable sources has revealed that the ISWAP leadership has vowed to unleashed its 3,800 foot soldiers in Lake Chad and its environs with an undisclosed number of superior weapons in order to completely eliminate the Boko Haram from the surface of the earth.
"Commanders of ISWAP Comprising; Abu ZAKARI, (Amir ), Abu SIYAMA (Amir), Yusuf GONI (Amir), Malan SADIQUE (Amir), Hafiz Chad (Amir), Abu KHALID ( Amir), Ba Mustapha (Amir), Abu ARI Kanembu (Amir), Abu YAHYA (Amir), Mallam MODU GANA (Amir) and Bulama CHIMAKE (Amir), were directed to mobilised all their fighters for a major battle against the Boko Haram.
Recalled that the Boko Haram fighters have directed it men to be determined and show courage in sustaining its fight against ISWAP while the ISWAP group vowed to fight more with the JAS faction than the security forces.
