Kogi: troops arrest suspected terrorist logistics supplier in Yagba West

Troops of 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, operating from Patrol Base Okunran in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, have arrested a suspected logistics supplier to terrorists.
Security sources said the suspect was apprehended at about 5:05 p.m. on April 2 while allegedly transporting food items to suspected terrorist elements operating within the area.
Preliminary interrogation reportedly indicated that the suspect admitted to being involved in supplying logistics to the armed group, as well as participating in ransom collection from relatives of kidnapped victims.
Items recovered from him include one mobile phone, a pack of soft drink, and a bucket of garri.
The suspect is currently in military custody for further investigation and possible prosecution, while troops continue operations aimed at disrupting terrorist support networks in the area.
