Man slaughters Borno IDP for allegedly practicing “witchcraft.”

A 40 year old man has allegedly slaughtered an Internally Displaced Person(IDP), who was accused of possession of a witch-craft at Mandarari IDPs camp in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State.

 

It was gathered that the attacker stormed into the makeshift tent of the victim, hit him very hard before stabbing him Multiple times on his neck at about 4pm.

 

Zagazola Understand that when the victim became unconscious, the attacker layed him on the floor and slaughtered him, killing him instantly.

 

The IDPSs  accused him of being a witch and alleged that it was due to him that many people in the camp were falling ill or dying. 

 

Eye Witnesses said that the victim  was also  being blamed for the death of the wife of the attacker.

 

Meanwhile, another Man at Mandarari camp attacked  another  IDP with a knife at about 6pm. Reasons for the attack was not known but the victim was rushed to the hospital.
