NDLEA Officials Arrested Over Fatal Shooting of Teenager in Kano

Two operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kano State have been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing a 19-year-old woman, Patient Samuel, in Jaba Quarters.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the operatives were arrested by the Kano State Police Command saying the shooting occurred on Wednesday night at about 10:55 p.m.
The sources said that a team of personnel visited the scene and evacuated Samuel to Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital, where she was confirmed dead.
The police arrested two NDLEA officers Nass Ridwan Usman, 23, and Sna Ismaila Yakubu, 26 both attached to the agency’s Kano State headquarters.
Items recovered from them included their operational motorcycle, one live round of ammunition, four empty shells of 7.62×51mm ammunition, and two knives.
The sources said that the police had lunched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
