Niger bomb bridge linking communities in Borgu Niger state

Suspected bandits have destroyed a bridge linking Wawa and Luma communities in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State.
Local sources said the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday when the attackers reportedly used explosives to damage the bridge, cutting off movement between the two communities.
The destruction of the bridge is feared to have disrupted economic activities and access to essential services for residents in the affected areas.
