Nigerian Troops rescued 9 local farmers abducted by Boko Haram

The Troops of 195 Battalion Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI DAJI yesterday, September 25, 2023, rescued over local farmers kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in the North East of Borno State.
It was gathered that Troops of 195 Battalion in conjunction with hybrid forces and Civilian Joint Tasks Force on fighting patrol made contact with terrorists attempting to kidnap farmers at Maiwa Village, Mafa LGA.
Zagazola Makama understands that during the encounter, the troops opened heavy fire on the terrorists forcing them to flee, leaving 9 local farmers consisting of 3 women and 6 men that were abducted.
The troops also recovered one AK 47 rifle, one magazine and 30 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
