Police arrest 23 suspects, recover firearm in Kubwa, FCT

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 23 suspects during a raid on black spots around the Pipeline Market area in Kubwa, Abuja.
Police sources disclosed that the operation was carried out on April 30 following credible intelligence on criminal activities in the area.
The sources said that the Police operatives promptly swung into action and stormed the identified locations, arresting the suspects and recovering various exhibits, including a locally fabricated firearm.
The source confirmed that all arrested individuals are currently undergoing interrogation and screening to determine their level of involvement in criminal acts.
“Those found culpable will be charged to court for prosecution, while others will be released if found innocent after the screening process,” the source said.
