Security forces Foil Bandits’ Attacks in Malumfashi and Agagiwa Villages in Katsina

Security Forces successfully repelled two separate attacks by armed bandits on April 11, 2025, in the Malumfashi and Agagiwa areas.
Intelligence sources informed Zagazola Makama that at around 9:30 PM, suspected bandits attacked Fanisau Village in Malumfashi Local Government Area.
The sources said that the DPO Malumfashi, leading a police patrol team, engaged the hoodlums in a fierce gun duel, forcing them to flee the area.
Later, at approximately 10:00 PM, a distress call from Agagiwa Village reported bandits had barricaded the Malumfashi-Funtua Road and fired at a motorist.
The DPO immediately deployed an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) to the scene, where they engaged the attackers in a gun battle. The bandits were forced to flee.
