Tanker-Tipper Collision Kills One, Injures Three in Zamfara

A fatal road accident involving a gas-laden tanker and a sand-loaded tipper occurred on Saturday morning at the entrance of Tsafe near Dutse, Zamfara State, resulting in the death of the tanker driver and injuries to three others.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the accident happened at exactly 10:19 a.m. The Zamfara State Fire Service arrived promptly, preventing a potential explosion or fire outbreak.
Firefighters at the scene were seen cooling the tanker to reduce the risk of ignition, while emergency responders evacuated the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cause of the accident remains unclear, but authorities have commenced an investigation.
