Terrorists inflict heavy losses on Chadian troops on Tibesti

On the night of August 12-13, a violent ambush was launched against a strategic base of the Chadian army, located in the Kouribouguidi region, Zagazola learnt.

It was gathered that the attack resulted in the deaths of several soldiers and many more captured by the rebel assailants.

The group responsible for this attack is still partially identified, the details about their origin and objective remain unclear.

The ambush comes just a few days after the attack on August 10, when the CCMSR managed to take control of a military base in the Tibesti region, capturing about a dozen soldiers from Mahamat Kaka's army.
