Three armed bandits killed by vigilantes in Zamfara community

Atleast three suspected armed bandits were killed by vigilante members in Garagi village, Mayanchi District of Maru Local Government Area.

Zagazola Makama gathered that the incident occurred on Wednesday at about 1:30 p.m. when local vigilantes engaged and neutralised the bandits during a confrontation.

The operation was a result of increased increased surveillance in the ongoing fight against banditry in the region.

Further investigations are ongoing to determine the identities of the deceased and any potential links to known criminal groups operating within the area.
