Troops ambush terrorists near Alau Dam in Borno, recover logistics items

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have ambushed and neutralised a Boko Haram terrorist near Alau Dam in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State, disrupting enemy logistics operations.
Zagazola learnt that the operation was carried out as part of the ongoing Operation Desert Sanity IV.
Sources said that the troops engaged a group of terrorists and neutralised one terrorist during the brief engagement, while others reportedly fled with possible gunshot wounds.
Items recovered at the scene included 10 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), a quantity of dried pepper, and sachets of salt indicating the group was attempting to transport basic supplies likely meant for insurgent enclaves.
