Troops arrest suspect for alleged assault of farmer in Kaduna

Troops of Sector 7 (Sub-Sector 71) have arrested a 40-year-old man, Moses Ali, for allegedly assaulting a farmer in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Security sources said the arrest was made at about 1:50 p.m. on April 27 at Ungwan Gora community following reports of an assault on one Dickson Ado, 29.
The sources disclosed that the suspect was taken into custody after being apprehended by troops operating in the area.
According to the sources, the suspect has since been handed over to Keystone Gwantu for further necessary action.
The sources added that security presence has been reinforced in the area to maintain calm and prevent further incidents.
